How to insert a link into a blog post
Step 1 - Open the website you want to link to in other tab.
Step 2 - Copy the URL of that website.
Step 3 - Now in your blog post click Link from the toolbar.
Step 4 - Paste your previously copied URL link into the box beneath: 'Which URL should this link go to?'
Step 5 - Write what you want the text to display. For example, here or Our class blog, then click 'OK'.
How to insert a photo into a blog post
Step 1 - Find the photo you want to use from your computer or Picasa Photo Albums.
Step 2 - Back in your blog post page click the 'Insert Image' icon from the toolbar.
Step 3 - Click 'Upload' on the top left of the smaller page.
Step 4 - 'Choose files' which are the photo/s you want to use and click 'Add Selected'.
Step 5 - Once the photo is in the blog post, click it to change position, size, etc.
Note: Some images can be cut and pasted straight into your blog post page.
How to insert an image into a blog post
Step 1 - Find the image you want to use or use an advanced google image search to make sure you have permission to use the image.
Step 2 - Right click the image and select 'Copy Image URL'.
Step 3 - Back in your blog post page click the 'Insert Image' icon from the toolbar.
Step 4 - Click 'From A URL' on the left, then paste URL and click 'Add Selected'.
Step 5 - Once the photo is in the blog post, click it to change position, size, etc.
Note: Some images can be cut and pasted straight into your blog post page.
How to insert a video into a blog post
Step 1 - Film or find a video you want to use.
Step 2 - Click on the 'Insert a Video' icon.
Step 3 - If you are uploading your own video from your computer click 'Choose a video to upload' then the blue 'Upload' button. If you want a youtube clip, click 'From YouTube' then the blue 'Upload' button.
(Remember this is a learning blog so all links, images and videos need to be relevant and appropriate.)
